What Clientelle is

Clientelle is a mobile app for service professionals — personal trainers, hair stylists, nail technicians, and similar practitioners — to manage their client relationships. You use it; your clients do not have accounts and do not interact with it directly.

Information we collect

Information you provide

Account: Your email address and password, or the identity token from your OAuth provider (Google, Facebook, Microsoft, or LinkedIn) when you sign in that way.
Client records: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, profile photos, and preference notes you enter about your clients.
Session logs: Notes, photos, and service labels you record after appointments.
Voice recordings: Audio you record in the app. Audio is sent to our servers for transcription and then permanently deleted — we do not retain the audio file.

Information collected automatically

Push notification token: Used to send rebooking reminders. Collected only if you grant notification permission.
Standard app diagnostics: Crash reports and basic usage data to keep the app stable. No personally identifiable information is included.

Information we access but do not store

Phone contacts: Accessed with your permission during onboarding to let you select clients to import. Only the contacts you explicitly select are saved; we do not upload or retain your full contact list.
Google Calendar events: Read from your calendar to show today's appointments on the home screen. Event title, date, and times are held in local device memory only — they are never sent to or stored on our servers. Your Google OAuth token is stored on your device (in secure storage) and is not transmitted to our servers.

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not use your clients' information for any purpose other than displaying it back to you.

Anthropic and OpenAI only receive data when you explicitly trigger a feature — tapping "Organize notes" or opening a Session Brief. They do not receive data passively.

Data storage and security

All data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Your data is isolated from other users' data by row-level security — our own servers cannot query another user's records.
Session photos are stored in a private storage bucket and are only accessible via time-limited signed URLs.
Session briefs are generated on demand and are never stored server-side.
Google Calendar tokens are stored in your device's secure enclave (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and never leave your device.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Deleting your account permanently removes your account credentials, all client records, and all session logs, notes, and photos.

Deletion is irreversible. We do not retain backups of deleted accounts beyond 30 days.

Children

Clientelle is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
